Last week I heard NPR state that there has not been vocal opposition ag= ainst the invastion.=20 I believe we can start declaring that vocal opposition. I think th= e issue is in the news and that if we do it right we can get news coverage.= What if we planned the rally one or two weeks after ASU started and ma= rched down from the campus, down Mill Avenue, to Kyle or McCain's ofice d= emanding that they oppose the war. What if we ask other groups, like we di= d in the FBI demonstration, to join us in this march/ demonstration.
I keep thinking about the first demonstrations against the war in Viet Na= m. People were surprised at the initial turn out at those initial demonstr= ations.
(Personally I think this anti-Iraq invastion demonstration is far more = important than a September 11 commemoration. What is done is done. What i= s important is to impact what is about to be done. )
